Photography was a small flame that burned early on. When other little  kids wanted to be doctors and fire-fighters, we wanted to work for National Geographic. We have countless childhood memories of tacking up sheets for backdrops, hiking though the mountains with disposable cameras and playing photographers. Never in a million years did we guess that we actually had any real talent or that one day, decades later, we'd be doin' the thing...together.

We grew up, got married, had babies. Then somewhere along the way, life happened: a heart broke, a family split and suddenly the dream of photography re-emerged as a single mama's shout of faith. (Yes,  it was a LITERAL dream. The wake-up, stare at the ceiling, life-altering, choose-your-path-that-moment kinda dream) Bank accounts were drained, a camera was purchased, and hope blazed the way for Hanna. A couple years later, Relic had blossomed and Heidi joined the ranks. Both of us are 100% self-taught and we have been tending this wild little photo garden ever since. 

Our journey as photographers has been one of the most fulfilling adventures of our lives. Photography is WAY more than a job to provide for our families. It's hope. It's redemption. It's gratitude. It's our passion and our love and adventure and soul poured out  in imagery. We're we're glad to be here. And we can't wait to tell YOUR story in the most beautiful way possible. Let's go!
