You guyyyyysssss. This elopement was one for the books! This was our first time shooting a glacier elopement in early spring. Of course, with every season there are pros and cons. In the height of summer it’s WARM, the snow has melted, there are deep pools of blue and beauty abounds.
But spring is a different kind of magic. March means temps were starting to rise to a comfortable level, but since the world was still a frozen snow globe, we were able to access different areas that included these amaziiiiing ice caves. The photographer in me was practically combusting. I mean, just look. It is wild. Awe-inspiring. Alaska.
Bobby and Kayla wanted all the adventure without all the fuss. It was important to them that their day be casual, playful, memorable, and most importantly – all about them. So, they traded tradition for an aisle of ice and voila: Magic.
