Zach and Theresa came from all the way from Fairbanks to get married in the place they became engaged: Girdwood.
From the moment I walked into the getting ready scene I knew it was going to be a good day. These two were so peaceable, so kind, and just HAPPY to be doing the thing! You could almost feel the belonging. They fit. They were ready. They pledged their vows and said I-Do on a rooftop surrounded by just a few close friends and then we adventured to a few of their favorite Girdwood stops for photos.
March and April are always considered the ‘ugly months.’ But I beg to differ!! We got a little rain, a little bit of sunshine, some snow and ice thrown in with melt off, and it turned out to be the most magical recipe of all. Art is people, art is love.
